The Edith Piaf

The Edith Piaf

"Quand il me prend dans ses bras / Qu'il me parle tout bas / Je vois la vie en rose"

The Edith Piaf, named for the singer who popularized the old jazz standard La Vie en Rose, is a refreshing mocktail with floral and fruity overtones that are just slightly sweet. It goes great with either gin or mescal if you want to give it some teeth and turn this mocktail into a cocktail.

You Will Need...
-4 grams La Vie En Rose tea blend
-8oz hot water (202-205 degrees F)
-1oz simple syrup
-lemon juice
-club soda, chilled
-cocktail shaker & ice
-pint glass

Steep 4 grams La Vie En Rose tea in 8oz hot water for 5 minutes.

Strain and add to cocktail shaker, along with simple syrup and 4-6 dashes of lemon juice.

Shake vigorously, then strain into pint glass, top off with club soda for a refreshing mocktail that tastes of rose and berry lemonade.
